I read an unusually positive article on gaming the other day. It was very weird as I’m used to reading bad articles about gaming, but then again, it wasn’t saying things like how great it is.
Anyway, back to this article, it stated that people who plays games more frequently tend to do better at controlling surgical equipment. How does that work? Well people who plays games quite a lot are actually training their hand eye coordination skills since they control their character/object using some sort of hardware interface. So it does make sense that they have an advantage in this area.
Hm… not sure why the sudden change in attitude towards gaming? Not sure, maybe it’s because gaming is being more recognised by people that it can just be a past time that anyone can enjoy.
