Curiosity in fighting games?

Team Ninja has released another tutorial. This time, they’re advocating people to be curious. Experiment. There’s no right or wrong way to learn.

I’ve never really thought about stating something as obvious as being curious. Most tutorials will not even touch this subject. I think it’s more fun for beginners to learn and understand that they can experiment however they like and it won’t break the game or something. This is a great way for them to express themselves and to find out whether they like the character or not.

I just noticed that there’s no music in these tutorials. It’s quite a nice way to film as there’s nothing to divert the viewer’s attention from what is being taught. If there’s too many flashy effects/music, then it distracts people from the tutorial slightly. I said this before and I’ll say it again, I really like this format and think it’s really effective.

Bring on episode 3! You know, the power launchers haha
