Game Informer has released the latest update for Rise of the Tomb Raider and this time, they’ve interviewed Noah Hughes. From the video, Noah talks how they’ve taken fan feedback of wanting longer, more complex tombs and have attempted to implement for the new game.
I personally didn’t mind the short tombs in the first reboot. I’ve not played many puzzle solving games so to me that was a good introduction. One thing I really liked from the video interview is how they talk about the difficulty in creating puzzles. It’s difficult to balance puzzles so that it’s not very easy that everyone will breeze past it and not so difficult that you’ll need to be a rocket science to work it out. It makes me appreciate puzzle solving abit more in games now.
